“CARMMA” movement to be launched to oppose the return of Sen. Marcos to Malacañang
“CARMMA” or the Campaign Against the Return of the Marcoses to Malacañang is set to be launched nationwide on February 22 whose aim is to oppose the possible return to Malacañang of Sen. Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos. If he wins as vice president in this year’s national elections, he will be one step closer. This new movement or group is composed of the Samahan ng Ex-Detainees Laban sa Detensyon at Aresto (SELDA), Kilusang Mayo Uno (KMU), Kilusang Magbubukid ng Pilipinas (KMP), Bayan, Desaparecidos and other victims of human rights abuses.
SELDA Chairperson Marie Hilao-Enriquez said: “Hindi namin hahayaan na manumbalik ang mga Marcos sa Malacañang through a presidential bid. Pag nanalo yan bilang VP, isang hakbang na lang ay presidente na.”
These different groups said that they will flood social media with anti-Marcos propaganda and hound the senator wherever he goes in his campaign sorties

Filipino Voters will receive money to make a candidate win throwing all caution to the wind..they will use the money for food and basic necessities and disregard the consequences-I am referring to poor people but not all poor people. They will flood money to public schools just like before
Caroline, Do you think that your son might be interested in directing our film CEBU? It’s set in part the Marcos era in The Philippines.Kind Regards,Virginia Traverswww.Lunaventure.com

I have no idea, Virginia. I doubt it as he is a producer these days, no longer a director. Plus he lives and works in the UK and, unless it was a paid job, he couldn’t afford to take time off to do it.
